Produced by Ashoka, WashU’s South Asian student association, Diwali is an annual, student-run production put on to celebrate the South Asian holiday of the same name, as well as South Asian culture at large. The production includes singing and dance acts, a fashion show, and a skit, as well as a diya lighting piece – a traditional aspect of Diwali’s celebration. Fundraising from the show is donated to a philanthropic cause.
